With Windows coming in a few weeks its time to get your computer ready for the change. There things you should know before you upgrade. The first thing is you should know that if you are planning to go from Windows XP to Windows 7, you cant do a in place upgrade. You will have to format the drive and install Windows 7 as a fresh install. This is because there is just too much of a different between Windows 7 and Windows XP. So get your things backed up to a DVD or a external hard drive. If you have Windows Vista you can do a in place upgrade but it will take a few hours to upgrade. I would suggest format and install Windows 7 fresh. I this will give you the best Windows 7 expertness. This process will only take a few minutes (not including how long it will take to reinstall software you may use and to restore your back-up). Have fun installing Windows 7.
